Flooding Oklahoma and Ohio - August 2007
« on: 25 August 2007, 01:59:37 AM »
I heard about a week ago that western Oklahoma was under some serious flooding with rescues occurring - now it seems the region around Ohio towards the eastern parts of the United States has experienced extensive flooding.

Any news bulletins and photographs posted here are welcome.

Regards,

This flooding was caused by Tropical Storm Erin which intensified over Oklahoma ! - complete with an eye and the severe weather you'd expect from a TC.

A lot of analysis is occurring as to what allowed this to occur so far from the ocean.
