Excavator bogged in a watery grave at Rose Bay
READ MORE TO VIEW GALLERYCouncil works in Rose Bay have become a little more pricy as one of their front loaders became bogged in the sand banks of Sydney's Harbour.The Woollahra Council's excavator hit trouble around 9.30am, with further crews arriving with it's larger counterpart to assist it from its slow death. The rescue operation was unsuccessful and the machinery was doomed as the water slowly began to rise.
