Hi all.

Jimmy et al who have considerable chase experience could you give some comments on what you think this is?  Is it the meso visible?

Hi Mike,

Could be a bit of a notch cut into the right side of that vortex. Possibly something to do with a rear or forward flanking downdraft interaction? Hard to tell without seeing the full extent of the cell really?

Pretty darn cool to see though! Nice to have video of it as I'm sure stills would not have done it justice.

I'm not that experienced on this thing, but it could be the starts of a transparent landspout funnel - going on the type of storm shown in the video, but as Shaun said - need to see more of the storm to identify it further.

i reckon it is interaction between outflow cutting underneath inflow , i have seen impressive swirls and rotation on multicells moving on a frontal change with a rapid wind direction change  though not with any tunnels like this
