NW Kansas Supercell May 26
« on: 28 May 2006, 07:41:42 AM »
Watched a nice storm go up near Hays, NW Kansas this afternoon. Storm eventually developed a high based but nice wall cloud at Morland with some structure and rotation for about 45mins. There was another supercell just to the east. I think these two had split from the one storm. Also saw the Doppler on Wheels out there.
LCL's a bit too high for a tornado today. :(   Also observed quite a few Gustnadoes.  Will put some photos up soon.

You should have met up with us - we were in the same region. Michael will post some of our pics shortly.

It tried to do it but didn't.
