Lightning Photography video
« on: 27 November 2010, 03:03:00 AM »
I did this clip for the ASWA AGM on the Gold Coast in July and finally got around to putting it on YouTube

See if you can count how many lightning photos are in it :)

Just awesome MB!

I'd guess somewhere between 1 and 45000 lightning bolts. Am I close? lol!

Hope all is going great! -what happened to all the storms? It started off so well the other week!

Not sure how many actual bolts, but less than 2,000 photos :)

Yeah, the season continues to be terrible, especially for NE NSW / SE QLD. It does leave time for other things which there is normally no time for in the lead up to Christmas.

cheers, Michael

I counted more than 10 bolts in that video  ;D

The next thing we will be seeing your name on Avatar 2, taking over from James Cameron.

Seriously, that was awesome. I liked how all the photo's /lightning moved and appeared to dance in time with the music too.

Cheers

Fantastic clip and a good many shots have gone into that, must have been fun pasting it all together. And a great choice of soundclip!

The end part is actual video footage. I've got a longer version of that but it's not online.
