It seems NE NSW did it once more - another lightning show. Michael Bath will have a report but here is a preview:

I have to say Michael, I have always admired your lightning photgraphy but several of your picures this year have been absolutely spectacular. That close range bolt (above) is simply phenomenal! To think, if you were pointing a little down you'd probably see the neigbours dog on fire. Holy smokes!
btw, Jimmy, I'm getting confused - should this thread be in the general severe section above or at least duplicated there?
