Title: 3rd January 2006 - North NSW lightning show
Post by: Jimmy Deguara on 05 January 2006, 08:07:26 AM
Hi,

It seems NE NSW did it once more - another lightning show. Michael Bath will have a report but here is a preview:

Check the storm news image of the month:

Michael will eventually replace this with his report.

Regards,

I have to say Michael, I have always admired your lightning photgraphy but several of your picures this year have been absolutely spectacular. That close range bolt (above) is simply phenomenal! To think, if you were pointing a little down you'd probably see the neigbours dog on fire. Holy smokes!

btw, Jimmy, I'm getting confused - should this thread be in the general severe section above or at least duplicated there?

Thanks David - it has been an incredible season for lightning. Rodney Wallbridge got the same photo and better composed:

btw, changed this thread to be 3rd Jan.
