Severe weather possible 3rd July in central Plains



Severe thunderstorms are possible today over parts of Kansas and Nebraska, including the same area that experienced the "tornadofest" on June 17th!  Although a fairly strong cap will be in place, supercells are expected to  develop late this afternoon over northern Kansas and southern Nebraska, given  moderate instability and favourable shear profiles for that timeframe. ...
