NW Kansas Supercell May 26   on: 27 May 2006, 02:41:42 PM

Watched a nice storm go up near Hays, NW Kansas this afternoon. Storm eventually developed a high based but nice wall cloud at Morland with some structure and rotation for about 45mins. There was another supercell just to the east. I think these two had split from the one storm. Also saw the Doppler on Wheels out there.
LCL's a bit too high for a tornado today. Sad   Also observed quite a few Gustnadoes.  Will put some photos up soon.

You should have met up with us - we were in the same region. Michael will post some of our pics shortly.

It tried to do it but didn't.

Storm chasing is dangerous. Do not storm chase unless you have consulted or chased with others who have proven extensive chase experience.
