Freak accident leaves a trail of destruction in Ocean St Bondi.
READ MORE TO VIEW GALLERYAn elderly woman was transported to hospital after a freak accident in Bondi this evening.At 8.30pm it’s believed a Subaru station wagon was being driven when the accelerator jammed. The vehicle reversed across the street into a parked car and then accelerated at full speed back across the street into a block of units.The female was trapped for a short time and was assisted by local residents until emergency services arrived.The Fire Brigade examined the structural integrity of the building and declared there was no risk of collapse.
