Horizontal Rotation?

Hi, I'm sure this kind of cloud motion goes on all the time above our heads. I was blown away when I saw it, so glad i was recording at the time.
I'm going along to different forums asking about how it formed and stuff. any ideas? anyone see this kinda thing regularly?

Hi,

Definitely some obvious rotation there. How long did the feature last?

There occasionally are days when rotation occurs under the base of cumulus clouds or the sides - some better than others. Rotation on a larger scale is what can lead to tornadoes in some cases.

hey cool, thanks, just checked the raw footage then, i'd say around 2 minutes of definite rotation. 3 minutes if counting the start of the curling and the end of rotating.
