               Caught the news tonite,  footage of an excellent waterspout offshore of Manly this afternoon

   Awesome view for those that were present !

Yes channel 9 had some nice footage from Dee Why. No luck finding any online video yet.

Synoptic Situation: 3:00 pm EST Tuesday

A Waterspout has been observed to the southeast of Botany Bay associated with heavy showers travelling in a southwesterly direction. Waterspouts normally weaken rapidly as they move over land , but locally damaging winds with gusts in excess of 90 km/h are possible along the coastal fringe over the next few hours.
