Scaffolding & crane collapses at Maroubra industrial accident
         

READ MORE TO VIEW GALLERYA 70 year old male painter has died after a gantry collapsed whilst working on a building in Maroubra. It's believed he was not wearing a safety harness. The other worker was hanging in a dangerous position for around an hour whilst the Police Rescue Squad worked hard to save him.During the rescue operation, there were fears that the gantry would fall onto the male and rescue workers below. Workcover have begun their investigations.
