Hey guys is there any such thing as a cold pocket or something similar? let me tell you more detail

Currently my local Weatherzone Obs show that the temp is 10ish and my station has already dipped down to 7.1C and still dropping

My surrounds are a Huge oval and rather open space and we are a little higher than the rest of the street

Does that change my temps so dramatically?

Thanks Antonio.

Hi Ant,

The low lying areas in a stable environment tend to get cold earlier due to cold air drainage.

Incedently, it seems there would have been one of the first frosts this morning in the low lying areas where I live.
