READ MORE TO VIEW GALLERYRescue services across the Eastern Suburbs swept into action after a report was received that a young female had suffered a lower back injury in an isolated rocky area near Clovelly.
The incident occurred at Gordons Bay, north of Coogee Beach at 4:40pm.Clovelly lifeguards were first on scene to assess the state of the young lady’s health. She was suffering severe lower back pain and could not be moved.Additional Lifeguards reached the remote location which was around 300 metres from Gordons Beach and 400 metres from the Clovelly parking lot.
There was a concern that large waves would affect the rescue and further resources were assigned to the operation.
