Hi,
Storms in the northeastern Texas Panhandle are realtively higher based compared to the storm in SW Oklahoma - obviously where the deeper moisture field exists. No tornado warnings thus far. Tim Marshall is located in this area so we'll see what happens.

Hi,
Storms in SW Oklahoma are entering deeper moisture with bases lowering. This means that the chance of tornadogenesis are increasing! Already reports of very large hail up to 3.3inches (7 to 8cm) in diameter have been reported earlier.

In the end it was Mother Nature's April Fools joke!! There were only 1 or 2 tornadoes logged in S Kansas.
