Title: SA Cold Front 4 May 2010
Post by: _Chris_ on 06 May 2010, 12:23:16 PM
Well, our first real cold front with bite for the year passed through Adelaide just before sunrise yesterday morning, and while it didn't quite live up to the expectation that was had for it a few days ago, it was a nice tast of winter and it did have a few imbedded thunderies that fired up as it hit the coast. I was almost about to give up trying to catch the odd flash 15km away over Glenelg as the rain was prooving too much when out of absolutly no where, a bolt hit a stoby poll 900m from me. It sent me flying down the roof so fast I put a hole through the veranda. It's a blessing in disguise really that the city light pollution forced me to close the Ap right down. It's shot in 18mm.
