Title: South Australia Upper Trough/low 8th-11th April 2010

Hi there, I couldn't find a thread that looked appropriate for this, so please move it if this thread isn't warranted. I've compiled an animated gif of images taken yesterday evening on sunset, just south of Pt Wakefield of one of what appered to be waterspouts/funnel clouds over the Gulf St Vincent.

Nice catch there Chris!  The animated gif was a good idea to show the movement you were seeing.  Were there other funnels?

Thanks Brad. There where a number of separate funnels form in the forty or so minuets we where observing them, but usually only one at a time, and on the few occasions there where two present, only one was ever fully developed.

Great lightning shots and absolutely love the first one! One of these days I will get one like that, have the right gear but a very disappointing season in Sydney this year.
