Title: Red Rock Tornado
Post by: Jimmy Deguara on 15 November 2007, 03:34:13 PM
Time for a revisit of the past. The Red Rock tornado was a long tracked tornado being on the ground for about an hour. Check out the video. I think it was one of the tornadoes studied by Howard Bluestein during the early deployment of mobile doppler units. Check it out:

Sorry, I have the Red River stuff but found this great report and photos from Gene Moore .  I read that doppler recorded the tornado with winds of 288 MPH!
