Am unable to locate a time when this happened - the link that i gave has many, many large damage photos and also more of the hail - some of the sizes are astounding! One weighed in at around 3kgs!
The weather site is in Argentinian (Brazilian) so you'll have to take a stab at what's on offer, but go to this link http://metsul.com/secoes/visualiza.php?cod_subsecao=28&cod_texto=956 and this is where the page is.
MB supplied this link to me which gives an account of the storm (in english...) with other links;

I'm just blown away by this.....wouldn't the hail have to be thrust at a speed of 70-90m/s for this size to occur?

Next to the USA, this is the place to go - Brazil, Argentina!!

I'm told that this region has some powerful storms and during this time of year they're prevalent. If you'd get hail this size where would you take cover - seems no place is safe by the photos! You'd want a very secure roof and a spare camera in case old faithful got trashed...! Helmet probably obligatory!!
anyone got any data on past storms in that region off-hand tucked away???

I've seen that site - lots of great pics from Brazil and South America!
Side note: There's no such language as "Brazilian" or "Argentinian" - Like most Latin American countries, Spanish is the official language of Argentina. The Metsul site is in Brazilian Portuguese because it's a Brazilian site.
