MONSTER HAILERS IN UPPER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY!!

Thunderstorms with EXTREMELY large hail have been moving out of Minnesota all  afternoon, and are currently training over parts of northeast Iowa, southwestern WI and into Northern IL. These storms have dumped large quantities of destructive hail up to the size of tennis balls. Brandon Sullivan of http://www.vortexventurers.com (http://www.vortexventurers.com) has been streaming from that area this afternoon, and experienced a particularly intense hail core south of Strawberry Point, IA. His vehicle sustained heavy  damage from tennis ball-sized hail, including broken exterior mirrors and tail  lights, destroyed the outside trim and cracked his windshield -- he is VERY  lucky to have not lost the windshield altogether

Would have been an interesting ride to get hammered by this beast. I would suspect that gorilla hail (hail 10cm or greater) could have fallen from the strongest region of the storm.
