Car drives over cliff in Double Bay in freak accident.
READ MORE TO VIEW GALLERY & VIDEOPolice and specialist rescue services were called to reports that a car had driven over a car park area which bordered a cliff in Ocean Ave, Double Bay.The incident occurred at approximately 3:30pm. Police and Ambulance were first to arrive to find an elderly female trapped upside down in her car.It’s believed she was parked near the visitor parking in an adjacent property. It's understood the car travelled forward over the 12 metre cliff and impacted the ground in an inverted state.
