Flooded Birdsville Track won't stop races - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)
     

The Birdsville Race Club (BRC) says the renowned outback Queensland race meeting is definitely going ahead this year, even though floodwaters might present a challenge for some travellers.
