Hi,

Have you ever wanted to share your photographs of weather but had no place to put them on the internet. Try submitting in the appropriate sections on this forum (http://www.australiasevereweather.com/forum/index.php) or create your own appropriate sections.

If you wish to post pictures on this forum as you post your message, use the additional options... function just to the bottom left of the message box. Just below all the options, you will see the attach - then browse and add your images directly to the forum from your computer.

Below are relevant websites that may assist in resizing and reducing the resolution of the usually larger original images. You should never post original images anyway.

The main problems that seem to arise during submissions to the Australian Severe Weather forum submission process:


- size of the images or their dimensions (width and length) are too large.

There are several programs out there that easily allow you to resize and resample images ot be uploaded onto the submissions well within the limit size.

Some of the more popular software packages that occascionally are bundled with scanners or perhaps digital cameras usually can allow you to resize the images. You should never post large images online anyway to help reduce the risk of copyright fraud

Some of these software packages can also batch resize or resample - this means you can do many images selected at once. Please use this command with care and ensure you have copied the same images into a separate directory for testing and dela with them - never deal with originals
