Post by: Jimmy Deguara on 02 March 2008, 04:52:20 PM
I must say I had to read this a couple of times to sink it in. It seemed wierd at first/ I had never heard of it prior!

Have a look at this one.

I don't think they can be trusted as a reliable news source :-)

Richary,

The way it was written definitely made it seem suss. I wanted to see what others thought of it - hence the lack of comments.

As long as they have fun! And everybody who reads the site knows it is a parody of news - and nobody takes it as gospel and *doesn't* not hide in their basement during a tornado. Not a problem here of course, but I hope nobody in the US is using it for reality!

The sites and the slant they put on things can be fun, but they should have a disclaimer at the top saying it isn't real and don't believe it.

I like how they made the ridiculous Doppler radar images and the man "looking for his old Halloween costumes"

Obviously fake

I think it is dangerous to make jokes about such items using 'deaths' as convincing evidence.
