Title: Late Fall severe weather event? Great Plains week beginning Nov 19, 2007
Post by: David C on 18 November 2007, 08:27:08 AM
Just watching The Weather Channel and there appears to be a beast of a negative tilt trough being progged to amplify during next week. This will produce some cold weather, but I am interested in how this feature interacts with the unseasonable warmth at the moment. Too far out right now, but worth noting the potential for a significant severe weather outbreak for the Thanks giving period.  Damn, might have to check out some flights :)

You make sure you chase them David, you have been chasing there for the past 3 years.

Unseasonal warmth ok. Are the dewpoints relatively high? Perhaps a silly question but sometimes it could have been wiped out by an initial cold front?
