Title: time-lapse software
Post by: Antonio (stormboy) on 09 September 2009, 06:12:17 AM
Ok now I want to start doing something new this season but i don’t know what to buy. I want to be able to film the weather creating a time-lapse of either a few hours or a whole day. What do I need? I already have a camera.

Hi stormboy,

What type of Camera do you have ?  if it is Canon, have a look to see if it is supported from these guys :

Can't give a recommendation as I haven't used the software - but you will need a computer with it.

cheers,

Ok I have a cannon power shot A460 5mp and I have a notebook so I think that should cover the hardware now I just need a good program. Thank you Adrian for your link it was a start to my search.

Hi go to this link

and contact Gerrit, he seems a nice enough fellow and has lots of very long time lapses, I am sure that he will be happy to share his technique.
