Bill intensifies into major hurricane


Hurricane Bill has been upgraded to a major Category Three hurricane as its sustained winds increased to near 205 kilometres per hour, the US National Hurricane Centre said.

From all the reports I have seen on the eMedia, this storm has an impact area of about 700 miles - a very large and very intense hurricane.
