Although Canada gets quite a few tornadoes, the frequency is irregular. This season is meant to be an awesome season. Perhaps this is a start.

Bloody awesome - you are mad not to check it out! There was mention that an extremely unstable environment with CAPEs of 7000J/kg was present.

This a day after another very strong storm with a tornado rated as an F4.

Edit: And before anyone decides to discuss further, the new enhanced Fujita scale has not been adopted in Canada yet.

Those guys from tornado video.net look like they almost got caught in a developing inflow jet! but i'm glad they got that footage as the multiple votex stage is amazing!

I won't say anything regarding the safety aspect as i converse with these chasers every week so far as to say they do put safety first.

The author of the video told me that the supercell had the most incredible structure he's seen to date - and he's been chasing for a long time in the alley!!! Certainly informative video capture.

Interesting info from a man with a great deal of experience and certainly educated me when explaining the suction vortices.
