TVN intercepted a large tornado from this MONSTER supercell in southeast Wyoming at around 4:30 local time! Reed says they were inside the tornado and that it was very strong - the TVS showed 123 knts of shear at the time! Debris is wedged between the exterior armor and the Tahoe body on the vehicle!

UPDATE!: Video Capture by Verne Carlson as the tornado was roping out!

Certainly a nice looking storm and tornado visually and on radar. Good to see the guys that have persevered out on the Plains get some action!

I was watching that earlier and showing it to some people at work. Amazing stuff, and how the light pops back on afterwards. Must have a good magnet!!!

Then I had to show them the pics of the vehicle they were taking it from so they could understand how they did it. That is just awesome and must have been a huge rush, and scary at the same time!
