Dam release wouldn't have stopped flood, inquiry told - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation)
         


          A senior flood operations engineer has told the Queensland flood inquiry it would not be worth lowering the supply level of Wivenhoe Dam when there are predictions of an extreme wet season.
