just would like to show soem photos and 2 videos about a supercell hailstorm we got this weekend in Hungary. Though this shows a countryside house, damages are serious! EDIT JD: This is the most incredible violent hail video I have ever observed with regards causing significant damage to a roof - this roof is literally obliterated! I would really recommend seeing the video of the roof as it shows some incredible hail damage to the house roof! Actually pulvarise is what I would call it! Watch it as it gets destroyed before your very eyes! Europe has really copped it this year - tornadoes in Italy as well. Though none of the damage I saw in Sydney (up at Paddington) after that event included roofs completely stripped like that (and I was looking from a few stories up). Lots of holes but nothing stripped like that.
Some pretty impressive hailstones in the photos as well. |
