Sunday 27th January up to the Northern Tablelands. We knew shear was terrible but with so few chase opportunities this season who not get out and have a look at some weather ...
A couple of decent looking cells developed in the Glen Innes to Tenterfield area by early afternoon.
Surprisingly - a small funnel formed under the most pathetic looking cumulus near Deepwater:


Quite a nice pulse cell formed but had died about an hour later:

This was the strongest looking cell of the day, located just east of Tenterfield:
