Here's today's VIS - how's that overshoot at 4.30pm !!! I'll do radar loops tomorrow morning.
Is it me or does that 4:30pm VIS image of the overshoot look to have some sort of an anti-clockwise spiral rotation? I noticed this at the time while "chair chasing" the storms.
I heard reports on the Ch.7 Brisbane news that they were receiving up to 50mm per half hour (out near Beaudesert) from that HP SC.
Storms are still firing strongly in SE QLD now also. Seemed to be several dozen nice multicells kicking off around the Warrego that are still very active.
MB: From the looks of those photos, I would believe you would have 20 more great ones! Love the ones that are lighting up the surrounding ground around the strike zone! Just stunning

I'm finding myself staring at the photos in awe lol
Cheers,
Shauno
